Your first session will be a FREE consultation with both parents and child that will have a two-fold purpose.
Firstly, to determine specifically what area your child is struggling in and what skills set they may need to develop and how they might go about doing that. Any school reports, teacher feedback and/or work samples that you have are encouraged to be shared for discussion.
Secondly, the session will include a portion dedicated to getting to know you This is designed for the tutor to build a rapport with the child in order to create a safe and familiar working environment for both student and tutor. This can involve a short fun activity and/or just a regular conversation getting to know the student. This will also be useful for the tutor to build a learning profile of the student to know how to best assist their learning.
1.5HRS - $59.95
This extended lesson is designed for students that struggle to stay on task and need a little extra time to hone and develop new skills. We wouldn't want to interrupt or dismiss a child's thought pattern to meet a deadline so if you think your child may benefit from a little extra attention and time then this may be for you.
